Falling for the Foveon

A Foveon sensor is very unique in the world of digital cameras and has earned a reputation as a superior performing sensor capable of bringing out extreme detail in images, incredibly true to life colours with a certain film look that is difficult to obtain with traditional sensors, cameras or through post processing. Whether this is true or not is a debate I prefer leaving to others, however, I can say that I am particularly pleased with the results I can get with either the Sigma DP2 or Sigma SD10. The following are a selection of images taken with these Foveon-based cameras.
