Fields of Gold: Sunflowers & Goldfinches

It was not hard to get lost in the incredible beauty of this naturalized flower border and wildlife habitat. Birds, butterflies, bees even a friendly young red squirrel along with a host of other insects visited this wonderful spot that greeted visitors to a cemetery with its cheerful sunflowers, coneflowers and colourful cosmos. I spent a couple of afternoons photographing its visitors and soaking up its natural beauty. Here are a selection of images from those two visits.
